What is the lightBox controller used for, and how does it differ from the wLightBox controller?
The lightBox is a small controller designed for dimming and controlling 3-channel LED strips / 3 12–24V DC strips. It is the only Bluetooth controller in our range – it does NOT have Wi-Fi (unlike the wLightBox).
The controller offers the following operating modes:
1 x RGB strip (red, green, blue) – colour wheel control;
3 x MONO strips (standard single strips) – each of the 3 strips controlled separately.
Can the lightBox controller be used to control the brightness of the LEDs?
Yes, you can dim each of the 3 channels of the LED strip independently, or dim 3 LED strips independently.
Where can I find the control app? How can I control the device?
You can control it via the dedicated BleBox app, using Bluetooth on a smartphone or tablet. The wBox app cannot be used to control Bluetooth controllers, just as the BleBox app cannot be used to control Wi-Fi controllers.

Can a button or remote control be connected to the lightBox controller?
No, this is not possible.
Does the lightBox controller have an effects editor?
No, it only has built-in effects.
What voltage of LED strip can I connect to the lightBox controller?
The controller supports 12V or 24V DC strips with a current draw of up to 4A per channel (i.e. 12A in total), which translates to:
3 x MONO strips (standard single-colour), each: 48W (for 12V) or 96W (for 24V)
1 x RGB strip, 144W (for 12V) or 288W for 24V.
The power can be increased by using the ampBox amplifier.
Does the lightBox controller work with the Google Home or Alexa voice assistant?
No, the lightBox controller is a Bluetooth controller which cannot be controlled via Google Home or Amazon Alexa.
