Symptoms:
- The controller periodically loses its connection to the Wi-Fi network.
- The device is shown as offline in the app.
- There are delays or no response to commands.
- After a while, the controller automatically re-establishes the connection.
Possible causes:
- Weak Wi-Fi signal at the installation site.
- Radio interference from other devices operating in the 2.4 GHz band.
- Incorrect configuration of the router or access point.
- Too many devices are connected to the wireless network.
- Problems with the controller’s power supply (voltage drops, unstable power supply).
- Out-of-date software on the device or network infrastructure.
Suggested solutions:
- Check the Wi-Fi signal strength at the location where the controller is to be installed.
- Make sure the device is connected to the 2.4 GHz network.
- Restart the router and the controller.
- Check that the device is correctly powered in accordance with the documentation.
- Update your router's firmware to the latest version.
- For large-scale set-ups, check the load on the Wi-Fi network and, if necessary, consider installing an additional access point.
- If the problem persists, carry out network diagnostics (ping, analyse the router logs) and contact technical support.
Note for the installer:
If multiple controllers are disconnected at the same time, you should first check that the network infrastructure (router, access points, switches, mains power supply) is working correctly, as the problem usually does not lie with the devices themselves.
