Thanks to the use of two wide-angle light-sensing elements, the controller is better able to detect levels of darkness.
What is the twilightSwitch controller used for?
The twilightSwitch controller is a darkness (twilight) sensor for 12–24V DC LED strips. The lighting switches on with a gradual fade-in (approximately 2 seconds) once ‘darkness’ is detected.

How does switching on, switching off and control work?
The lighting switches on automatically with a gradual fade-in (approx. 2 seconds) when ‘darkness’ (< 1 lx) is detected.
The lights switch off automatically with a gradual dimming (approx. 2 seconds) once ‘light’ is detected (< 1 lx).
How do I power the twilightSwitch, and what is the maximum load?
The maximum load is 5A at 12–24V DC, which corresponds to 60–120W. It is powered from the same source as the LED strip.
Is the twilightSwitch suitable for aluminium profiles with a diffuser?
Yes! The twilightSwitch controller can be concealed within LED profiles fitted with a diffuser. The driver has minimal self-light leakage; however, it is recommended to position it away from (protect it against) excessive exposure to its own light.
The twilightSwitch controller does not have Wi-Fi.
There is no alternative to the add-on Wi-Fi module – none of the BleBox controllers can read such a signal.
If you are looking for a sunrise/sunset sensor in BleBox Wi-Fi controllers, almost all of them feature a schedule with an astronomical clock.
