**What is the lightBox controller used for, and how does it differ from the wLightBox controller?**
The lightBox is a small controller designed for dimming and controlling 3-channel LED strips / 3 12–24V DC strips. It is the only Bluetooth controller in our range – it does NOT have Wi-Fi (unlike the wLightBox).
The controller offers the following operating modes:
1 x RGB strip (red, green, blue) – colour wheel control;
3 x MONO strips (standard single strips) – each of the 3 strips controlled separately.

**Can the lightBox controller be used to control the brightness of the LEDs?**
Yes, you can dim each of the 3 channels of the LED strip independently, or dim 3 LED strips independently.

**Where can I find the control app? How can I control the device?**
You can control it via the dedicated BleBox app, using Bluetooth on a smartphone or tablet. The wBox app cannot be used to control Bluetooth controllers, just as the BleBox app cannot be used to control Wi-Fi controllers.

**Can a button or remote control be connected to the lightBox controller?**
No, this is not possible.

**Does the lightBox controller have an effects editor?**
No, it only has built-in effects.

**What voltage of LED strip can I connect to the lightBox controller?**
The controller supports 12V or 24V DC strips with a current draw of up to 4A per channel (i.e. 12A in total), which translates to:
3 x MONO strips (standard single-colour), each: 48W (for 12V) or 96W (for 24V)
1 x RGB strip, 144W (for 12V) or 288W for 24V.

**Does the lightBox controller work with the Google Home or Alexa voice assistant?**
No, the lightBox controller is a Bluetooth controller which cannot be controlled via Google Home or Amazon Alexa.
