What is the inputSensor D/Q used for?
The inputSensor D/Q is used to monitor the status of wired inputs. It enables signals from buttons, switches, sensors and other devices to be read and used for automation or to control other devices.
How does the inputSensorD differ from the inputSensorQ?
The inputSensorD has 2 inputs, which are activated by a short to earth (GND).
inputSensorQ has four inputs and a C (common) terminal; the inputs are activated by a short to the common potential connected to the common terminal.
How should the inputSensor D/Q be powered?
Both the inputSensorD and the inputSensorQ must be powered by a 5–24 V DC supply connected to the device’s power terminals.
What devices can be connected to the inputSensor D/Q?
The inputs can be connected to, amongst other things, bell buttons, bistable switches, reed switches, motion sensors, flood sensors, alarm outputs from control panels, and relay contacts. This enables the inputSensor D/Q to monitor the status of various devices and systems.
What input operating modes are available?
The inputs can operate in NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) mode, allowing them to work with various types of buttons, switches and sensors.
