Where can I find the technical, assembly and user manuals for the product?
All product manuals are available at this address.
How do I connect to the BleBox controller, and what access modes are available?
To connect to the BleBox controller, you need to connect to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the device. The controller offers two access modes:
“Add to account” – intended for owners, this allows you to assign the controller to a specific account;
“One-off access” – intended for installers, this allows a temporary connection without assigning the device to an account.
What is a schedule + astronomical clock in BleBox controllers?
A schedule consists of planned control actions (e.g. switch on at 8 am on Monday, switch off at 5 pm on Friday).
The astronomical clock is a function within the schedule that allows you to control devices based on sunrise and sunset times, which are calculated according to the season and geographical location (e.g. switch the lighting on every day after sunset, switch them off at 00:00). To use the astronomical clock, you must grant the controller access to the device’s location, which will enable it to accurately calculate sunrise and sunset times for that location.
The following controllers do not support the schedule or astronomical clock functions:
–
doorBox–
gateBox– gateBoxPro
What is remote access in BleBox controllers?
Remote access involves using BleBox servers to connect to the controller from anywhere in the world without needing a public IP address (a feature that is usually provided by an Internet service provider for a fee).
To use remote access, the controller must be connected to a network with internet access.
Disabling this option cuts off the controller from all communication with BleBox servers and prevents control from outside the local (home) network.
What is uWiFi? Does it require Wi-Fi to work?
uWiFi is an interference-resistant, encrypted, energy-efficient direct communication protocol operating at 2.4 GHz, developed by the BleBox R&D department (it does not require a Wi-Fi network to operate) between BleBox controllers (e.g. between the uRemote remote control and a controller, or between an inBox and a controller).
Please note that uWiFi is not a replacement for standard WiFi and does not provide remote access. It is solely a protocol for direct communication between BleBox devices within signal range, without the need for a WiFi network.
Can a remote control or wireless button be paired with BleBox controllers?
Yes! This is possible with the rechargeable uRemote, which lasts up to 18 months on a single charge! You can also control the system using the inBox module, which lasts up to 5 years on a single battery!
Remember, you can always control the system from your mobile, tablet or computer!
How long is the warranty on BleBox
controllers? Each controller comes with a 5-year warranty.
Is there an API available for BleBox products (integration)?
Of course! The documentation for the driver APIs can be found at: http://technical.blebox.eu
An API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of protocols that enable different software components to communicate and exchange data. It acts as a sort of programming intermediary, facilitating the transfer of information between different applications. Thanks to the API, applications can ‘talk’ to one another, sharing data, code and the functionalities of other applications.
BleBox provides an open API in the form of a universal HTTP interface for communication between software and devices.

Can I fit BleBox controllers into the existing switch boxes?
Yes, BleBox controllers (black modules) fit, along with the wires and the switch, into a standard 60mm diameter switch box. However, we recommend using deeper switch boxes.
Exceptions to this are larger controllers, such as the gateBoxPro, rollerGateController and saunaBox.
