# The controllers are not connecting remotely

Symptoms:

- The devices are available locally, but the cloud-based features do not work.
- The drivers do not synchronise the date and time correctly.
- There are issues with schedules, time-based actions or notifications.
- The devices remain offline despite having a valid internet connection.

Possible causes:

- A firewall or network security system blocks outgoing connections from the controllers.
- Whitelists of permitted domains are used on the network.
- DNS servers or content filters are blocking access to BleBox services.
- Communication with the time synchronisation servers (NTP) is blocked.

Suggested solutions:
If traffic filtering rules or domain whitelists are in use on the network, please add the following addresses to the allowlist:

BleBox domains:

- `blebox.eu`
- `*.blebox.eu`
- `wboxc.eu`
- `*.wboxc.eu`
- `wboxc.com`
- `*.wboxc.com`

Time synchronisation servers (NTP):

- `0.pool.ntp.org`
- `1.pool.ntp.org`
- `2.pool.ntp.org`
- `3.pool.ntp.org`

Note for the installer:
In corporate networks and installations with advanced security systems, outbound traffic may be restricted to approved addresses only. A lack of access to BleBox domains or NTP servers may cause problems with cloud communication, time synchronisation and the operation of functions that depend on the current date and time.
