# tempSensor / tempSensor PRO / tempSensorAC

**What is the tempSensor / tempSensor PRO / tempSensorAC sensor used for?**
The tempSensor allows you to measure temperature from a single probe, whilst the tempSensor PRO and tempSensorAC can measure from up to four independent probes. One of its features is the ability to send notifications to your mobile phone if preset values are exceeded. It can also be integrated with other Blebox devices, enabling automated control.

**What is the temperature range and accuracy of the tempSensor / tempSensor PRO / tempSensor AC?**
From -55°C to 125°C with an accuracy of ± 0.5°C (within the range from -10°C to 85°C)

**How many sensors, and of what length**, **can be connected to the tempSensor / tempSensor PRO / **tempSensor AC** controller?**
The tempSensor supports one built-in sensor; the PRO and AC versions can accommodate up to 4 sensors, each up to 15 m in length. The sensors must be connected in parallel. The sensors are digital and are recognised individually by the controller (i.e. they behave as four separate tempSensors).

**Is the probe water-resistant?**
The probe is waterproof and has an IP65 rating.

**Is it possible to view temperature history and create a temperature graph using the tempSensor / tempSensor PRO / tempSensor AC?**
Yes, the controllers offer full functionality for temperature data history and interactive graphs. To use this feature, the controller must be connected to a Wi-Fi network. Measurement data is stored on the servers for one year, and for archiving purposes, it can be exported to .csv and .xlsx formats.

The data recording interval varies depending on the time period: for data from the last week, the interval is 5 minutes; for data from the last month, it is one hour; and after one month, data is recorded at one-day intervals.

For controllers with multiple sensors or data types, the user can choose which sensor and what data to display on the graph. You can also change the graph type to customise the data presentation to suit your preferences.

**Where should the tempSensor / tempSensor PRO / tempSensor AC probe be installed when measuring the temperature in a room?**
It is best to place the probe at a height of approximately 1 metre above the floor, on the wall opposite the one with windows, in a place where it is not exposed to direct sunlight.

**Can the tempSensor / tempSensor PRO be powered by a power bank or a rechargeable battery?**
The tempSensor is powered via a USB-C port, so it can be powered by a power bank; however, you must ensure that the power bank is capable of powering low-power devices (sometimes you need to press the relevant button on it). The sensor’s operating time on such a power source depends on the power bank’s capacity; for a 10,000 mAh (50 Wh) power bank, this is approximately 5 days.
The tempSensor PRO requires a power supply in the range of 12–24 V, so a gel battery is needed – for example, a 12 V 7 Ah battery will provide approximately 8–9 days’ operation.
The tempSensorAC is powered by 230V AC; it cannot be powered from a power bank or a battery due to the nature of the AC power supply.

**Does the tempSensor / tempSensor PRO / tempSensorAC have a battery?**
These devices do not have their own battery power source.

****How can I power the tempSensor / tempSensor PRO / tempSensorAC?****
To power the tempSensor, all you need is a standard charger and a USB-C cable, just like the one used for a mobile phone. For the PRO version, a 12/24 V DC power supply is required. The tempSensorAC is powered directly from the mains at 230 V AC, without the need for additional power supplies.
