**What is the humiditySensor used for?**
The humiditySensor is a wireless Wi-Fi sensor used to measure relative humidity (0–100 per cent) and temperature (–40°C to +125°C). The device also calculates additional environmental parameters: dew point, heat index, absolute humidity and thermal comfort index.

**How can the humiditySensor be powered?**
The device must be powered by a 5V supply via the USB-C connector. Simply connect it to a mobile phone charger or any 5V USB power supply. Power consumption is less than 1W.

**What can the humiditySensor control, and how? Examples of applications.**
The HumiditySensor can wirelessly control up to 30 other BleBox devices when set temperature or humidity thresholds are exceeded. Examples of automation:
In the bathroom/kitchen: controlling a fan via the switchBox LIGHT when humidity
is too high In a terrarium/paludarium: automatically switching on a misting system via the switchBoxDC
In a greenhouse: opening windows via the shutterBox or activating ventilation and heating
Notifications: sending alerts to a smartphone when preset values are exceeded

**Is it possible to view historical data and create a graph using the humiditySensor?**
You can view historical data and create a graph using our sensors. The controller allows you to view measurement history ranging from two hours to one year. To use this feature, the controller must be connected to a Wi-Fi network. Measurement data is stored on the servers for one year, and for archiving purposes, it can be exported to .csv and .xlsx formats.

The data recording interval varies depending on the time period: for data from the last week, the interval is 5 minutes; for data from the last month, it is one hour; and after one month, data is recorded at one-day intervals.

For controllers with multiple sensors, the user can choose which sensor to display on the graph. It is also possible to change the graph type to customise the data presentation to suit your preferences.

**Can the HumiditySensor be powered from a power bank?**
The HumiditySensor is powered via a USB-C port, so it can be powered from a power bank; however, you must ensure that the power bank is capable of powering devices with low power consumption (sometimes you need to press the appropriate button on it). The sensor’s operating time when powered in this way depends on the power bank’s capacity; for a 10,000 mAh (50 Wh) power bank, this is approximately 5 days.
