# energyMeter DIN

**What is the energyMeter DIN used for?**
The energyMeter DIN is used to measure electricity consumption and monitor the parameters of the mains supply.

**How do you power the energyMeter DIN?**
The energyMeter DIN must be powered directly from the 230 V AC mains supply – depending on the power supply configuration, both single-phase and three-phase connections are possible.

**What electrical network parameters does the energyMeter DIN measure?**
The energyMeter DIN measures voltage, current, frequency, and active, reactive and apparent power. In addition, it records active and reactive energy, both consumed and fed back into the grid. Measurements are available for each phase individually and in total for the entire installation.

**How does the energyMeter DIN measure mains parameters?**
The energyMeter DIN measures voltage by connecting directly to the installation being monitored. Current is measured indirectly, using current transformers fitted to the phase wires.

**What is the maximum current that the energyMeter DIN can measure?**
The energyMeter DIN is supplied with three 50 A current transformers, enabling it to measure currents of up to 50 A on each phase (up to a total of 34.5 kW for a three-phase installation).

**What is the measurement resolution of the energyMeter DIN?**
The energyMeter DIN provides the following measurement resolutions:
active power: 1 W
reactive power: 1 var
 apparent power: 1 VA
 active energy (consumed/supplied): 10 Wh
 reactive energy (consumed/supplied): 10 varh
 voltage: 0.1 V
 current: 0.01 A
 frequency: 0.1 Hz

**Are measurements taken for each phase separately?**
Yes, the energyMeter DIN takes measurements separately for each phase. The measured values are displayed independently for each phase and as total values for the entire installation.

**Is it possible to view measurement history and create graphs using the energyMeter DIN?**
Yes, the controller offers full functionality for data history and interactive graphs. To use this feature, the controller must be connected to a Wi-Fi network. Measurement data is stored on servers for one year, and for archiving purposes, it can be exported to .csv and .xlsx formats.

The data recording interval varies depending on the time period: for data from the last week, the interval is 5 minutes; for data from the last month, it is one hour; and after one month, data is recorded at one-day intervals.
