#### What is controlPanelM and what is it used for?

**controlPanelM is a wireless, touchscreen control panel for BleBox devices.** It features a 5-inch IPS screen and allows you to control and monitor selected BleBox devices without needing to use a smartphone.

The panel can be used, amongst other things, to control lighting, roller blinds, gates, heating and equipment in wellness and spa areas, as well as to display data from sensors, such as temperature, humidity and air quality

#### How many BleBox devices can be connected to a single controlPanelM?

**A maximum of 10 BleBox devices** can be added to a single controlPanelM.

Devices can be arranged in any order in the list displayed on the panel screen. The manufacturer reserves the right to increase this limit in future software updates.

#### How do I add a BleBox device to controlPanelM?

In the wBox app, go to:

**Settings → Panels → Create first panel / ‘+’ → Type: Device panel → Settings**

Next, select the device from the list of available controllers. Once the configuration has been saved, the device will appear on the controlPanelM screen.

#### Do the panel and the devices it controls need to be on the same Wi-Fi network?

**Yes.** controlPanelM communicates with devices via the local Wi-Fi network, so the panel and the devices it controls must be on the same local network.

If the devices are on different subnets, or if the network uses Wi-Fi client isolation (AP Isolation), communication may not work correctly.

#### Why can’t controlPanelM detect my BleBox device?

First of all, check whether:

- the panel and the controller are on the same local area network,
- the device is linked to the account you are using to configure the dashboard,
- no filters are active, e.g. ‘smart home’,
- The **AP Isolation / wireless client isolation** function is disabled on the router or access point.

If the device is on the local network but the automatic communication verification fails, you can add it using its **IP address**. In this case, it is recommended that you first assign the device a static IP address on the router.

#### Does controlPanelM support all BleBox devices?

**No.** The panel supports a specific list of devices and functions.

A list of compatible devices can be found in the controlPanelM manual at [https://blebox.eu/wp-content/uploads/controlPanelM_Manual_EN.pdf](https://blebox.eu/wp-content/uploads/controlPanelM_Manual_EN.pdf). For some devices, only a selection of their functions is available; for example, the gateBox PRO displays only two position icons, whilst the windSensor PRO displays the current wind speed.

#### Can I control devices using controlPanelM in the same way as I do using the wBox app?

**Not always.** controlPanelM provides access to the key control functions for the device in question. Advanced configuration and control options remain available in the wBox app.

#### Can the controlPanelM be flush-mounted?

**Yes.** The panel is designed for flush-mounted installation. You can use the installation template at the end of the instructions to mark out the hole. When printing the template, please ensure the scale is set to 100 percent.
