# co2Sensor

**What is the co2Sensor used for?**
The co2Sensor measures carbon dioxide concentrations. One of its features is the ability to send notifications to a mobile phone if set thresholds are exceeded. It can also be integrated with other Blebox devices, enabling automated control.

**What is the measurement range of the co2Sensor, and what is its accuracy?**
The measurement range is from 400 ppm to 40,000 ppm; the measurement accuracy varies depending on the range of values.

400–1,000 ppm: ±(50 ppm + 2.5% of the measured value)
1,001–2,000 ppm: ±(50 ppm + 3% of the measured value)
2,001–5,000 ppm: ±(40 ppm + 5% of the measured value)

**Is the controller water-resistant?**
The controller has an IP20 rating in accordance with PN-EN 60529, which means it is not protected against water; furthermore, **it is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN**toimmerse or clean the sensor membrane.

**GUIDELINES FOR CORRECT USE**
To ensure accurate measurements and a long service life for the device, please observe the following guidelines:

**Is it possible to view the reading history and create a graph using the co2Sensor?**
Yes, the controllers offer full functionality for data history and interactive graphs. To use this feature, the controller must be connected to a Wi-Fi network. Measurement data is stored on the servers for one year, and for archiving purposes, it can be exported to .csv and .xlsx formats.

The data recording interval varies depending on the time period: for data from the last week, the interval is 5 minutes; for data from the last month, it is one hour; and after one month, data is recorded at one-day intervals.

For controllers with multiple sensors or data types, the user can choose which sensor and what data to display on the graph. You can also change the graph type to customise the data presentation to suit your preferences.

**Where should the co2Sensor be installed?**
The device should be installed in a location protected from adverse environmental conditions, in particular damp and direct sunlight. You should also avoid installing it near loudspeakers, ultrasonic devices and other electronic equipment.

device should be securely mounted and remain stationary. Avoid locations exposed to shaking and vibrations. Metal components located near the device, such as cables, façade elements, window sills or brackets, may adversely affect the range of radio communication.

Particular attention should be paid to the diaphragm visible through the opening at the top of the device. Its position is indicated by horizontal lines and the warning markings nearby. The diaphragm must not be touched, cleaned or obstructed.

**Can the co2Sensor be powered by a power bank or a rechargeable battery?**
The co2Sensor is powered via a USB-C port, so it can be powered by a power bank; however, you must ensure that the power bank is capable of powering devices with low power consumption (sometimes you need to press the appropriate button on it). The sensor’s operating time on this power source depends on the power bank’s capacity; for a 10,000 mAh (50 Wh) power bank, this is approximately 5 days.

**How can you power the co2Sensor?**
All you need to power the co2Sensor is a standard charger and a USB-C cable, just like the one you use for your mobile phone.

**Does the co2Sensor have a battery?**
The device does not have its own battery power source.
